By the age of ten Jason Damico had earned a Platinum Award from the Presidential Volunteer Service Award Program earning over 135 hours of community service in one year. Community service remains an important part of Damico's life and he continues to volunteer his time and talent.

 

Jason Damico is honored and privileged to be a part of the Sound Affects family of artists! Sound Affects is an online nonprofit organization that makes it easy for anyone to support new solutions for cancer. Jason was a participate at the Gifting Suite with Sound Affects at the 2015 Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City.

Additionally, Jason would like to thank Tunes for Tots for believing in me and for inviting me to become a part of their organization.

 

Tunes for Tots brings the world’s music community together and produces concert events that serve as the platform for musicians to make a positive difference in the world for children and humanity.

 

USO - North Carolina - Jason Damico & the New Blue are honored to serve the troops for over four years performing at many USO events in North Carolina.

 

Over the past several years Jason Damico has been a talent volunteer for Music4Hope and currently serves on its board of directors. The Music4Hope mission is to bring love, hope and encouragement through the sounds of music into the lives of children and their families experiencing life threatening diseases. Music4Hope is not just a "charity", they form "friendships". 

 

MusicianCorps is a program of Center for Music National Service (MNS), a social enterprise based in San Francisco that promotes music for public benefit and social impact. MusicianCorps trains and places musicians as teachers, mentors  and care workers in public schools, children's and veterans hospitals and other settings where music can reach, teach and heal. MusicianCorps also promotes the role of music in society through advocacy and policy development. Jason Damico is thrilled to have been selected to become a MusicianCorps performer.

 

TDSN (Triangle Down Syndrome Network) is a nonprofit support, resource, and advocacy organization serving North Carolina's Wake, Durham, Orange, and surrounding counties. In our community and beyond, it’s our goal to ensure all people with Down syndrome lead happy and productive lives.

 

From the age of thirteen Jason has volunteered both in Youth and Adult Music Ministries at his local Church playing the drums, lead guitar, bass and singing depending upon the needs of the ministry. It has been a true blessing to be a part of this rewarding ministry.
